At Art Pet Grooming, we’ve built our entire operation around one idea: exceptional pet care should fit into your life, not the other way around. Fairview is a tight-knit community nestled between the Columbia River and the eastern reaches of the Portland metro area — a place where families, green spaces, and outdoor routines define daily life. We’re here to support that lifestyle by making sure your companion is always clean, healthy, and well cared for.
Whether you live near Blue Lake Regional Park, steps from Salish Ponds Wetland Park, or in one of Fairview’s welcoming residential pockets, our certified grooming team comes to your address with everything needed for a thorough, professional session. No salon booking stress, no car loading, no exposure to unfamiliar animals — just skilled, compassionate grooming on your terms.
We serve dogs and cats of every breed and size, and our groomers bring the kind of steady, practiced attention that puts even the most anxious animals at ease.
Having your pet groomed at home takes a lot of small hassles out of the week. You do not have to plan a drive, sit in traffic on I-84, or spend an hour in a waiting room. We park near your home, you walk your pet out to the van, and one groomer takes care of the whole appointment from start to finish. With just one animal inside, there is no barking from other dogs and no rush, so pets tend to settle in and stay relaxed. That makes a big difference for senior dogs, anxious rescues, and cats who fight the carrier every time. It also works well for homes with more than one pet, since each one gets its own turn in the van. Many Fairview families book a session during a work from home day or while the kids finish homework, since everything happens right outside the door. You can also talk with your groomer before and after the visit, so it is easy to share what you want. When it is over, your pet is back inside, fresh, clean, and comfortable.
Far beyond a tidy appearance, consistent grooming plays a direct role in your pet’s physical comfort and long-term wellbeing. In Fairview’s climate — defined by wet, muddy winters and warm, active summers — the case for regular grooming is even stronger.
Our booking process is designed to be effortless. Here’s what to expect from the moment you reach out to the moment your pet trots back inside looking their absolute best.
From the shores of Blue Lake to the quiet residential streets near Salish Ponds, our mobile van covers all of Fairview’s neighborhoods. As the City of Fairview’s park system spans over 350 acres of parkland and recreational greenways, local pets are active year-round — and we’re here to keep them looking and feeling their best after every outing.
Fairview pets have plenty of room to explore, and their coats pick up a bit of everything along the way. Walks around Blue Lake or the trails near Salish Ponds can mean wet paws, muddy bellies, and burrs tucked into feathered legs. During the long rainy season, damp fur that is not dried and brushed out can tangle into tight mats that pull on the skin. Dogs who love the water may also come home with damp ears, and some breeds get irritated when that moisture stays in. Spring brings heavy shedding, and a full bath followed by a careful brush out clears the loose undercoat before it lands on your floors. Summer is the time for lighter trims on thick coats and a close look at paws after long days outside. A consistent routine also keeps each grooming session shorter and less stressful for your pet. Your groomer can suggest a schedule that keeps your pet comfortable through every season, so small issues like a matted patch or a long nail get handled early.
Art Pet Grooming was built by people who put animal welfare at the center of everything. We aren’t a franchise assembly line — we’re a hands-on grooming team that takes pride in learning each pet’s personality, quirks, and preferences over time.
Our certified groomers bring years of real-world experience with dogs and cats across all breeds, ages, and temperaments. We’re patient with nervous animals, skilled with complex coats, and committed to making each session a genuinely positive experience for your pet.
Every service we offer is done one on one inside the van. The Dog Bath is ideal for a quick refresh between cuts, and the Dog Haircut keeps your dog looking neat and feeling comfortable. For pets who need extra care and detail, Master Level Grooming is our most complete option. Cats have their own menu, including the Cat VIP Nail service for tidy claws and the Cat VIP Bath for a deeper clean that helps with shedding. For active dogs, we also offer 30 and 60 minute walks that add exercise and a little adventure to busy weeks. If you have questions about which service fits, we are happy to help you choose before the visit. Whether your pet is a nervous puppy or a senior who needs extra patience, the pace always follows the animal. Every appointment happens in a clean, sanitized van, so your pet steps into a fresh space each time. That is the kind of care Fairview families can count on from us, visit after visit.
From a thorough cleansing bath to a precision master-level cut, Art Pet Grooming delivers standout results right at your doorstep. Join Fairview families who’ve already made mobile grooming the smarter, kinder choice for their companions.
