These Terms of Service form the complete agreement between Art Pet Grooming LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”) and you, the client (“you,” “your”), regarding grooming services, website use, and related matters.

Intellectual Property

All content, images, graphics, logos, videos, and written materials on our website are owned by or licensed to Art Pet Grooming. You may view, print, or download material for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, distribution, or modification for commercial purposes without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

Restrictions

You agree not to:
– Copy, republish, or resell any website content for commercial use.
– Use the website in a way that damages or interferes with others’ access.
– Violate any applicable laws while using our site or services.
– Misrepresent yourself, your pet, or withhold important information that affects safety during grooming.

Client Responsibility & Pet Behavior

Every pet is unique, and grooming involves tools and handling that can present risks. By booking with us, you agree:
– You are solely responsible for your pet’s behavior, health, and vaccination status.
– Aggressive pets must be disclosed before the appointment. We reserve the right to refuse or stop grooming if your pet poses a danger to itself or our staff.
– If your pet injures a groomer (bites, scratches, attacks), you are responsible for related medical expenses and damages. Aggressive incidents will be reported to local authorities when required by law.
– Muzzles, harnesses, or safety restraints may be used if necessary for safety.

Health, Medical Concerns & Emergencies

– Grooming can sometimes trigger stress, seizures, or aggravate hidden health conditions, especially in elderly, sick, or special-needs pets. Art Pet Grooming is not responsible for such outcomes.
– If a medical emergency occurs, we have your permission to seek immediate veterinary care for your pet. All costs will be your responsibility.
– Minor injuries such as small nicks, scratches, or clipper irritation may occur. Our groomers will treat these when possible, but we are not veterinarians.

Coat Condition & Matting Policy

– Pets with severely matted coats may require a shave-down for humane reasons. Attempting to brush out heavy mats can cause unnecessary pain.
– Grooming matted pets carries risks of skin irritation, cuts, bruising, or other issues due to the condition of the coat. We are not liable for injuries or skin conditions revealed after dematting or shaving.
– Shaving double-coated breeds may result in irregular coat regrowth. We advise against it, but if requested, the client assumes responsibility.

Parasites & Hygiene

– If fleas or ticks are found, your pet will be treated with an appropriate bath at your expense. Additional charges apply.
– We strongly recommend follow-up veterinary care for pets with parasites, as infestations may carry diseases.
– We maintain sanitized grooming spaces and equipment, but you acknowledge the inherent risk that pets may develop infections despite reasonable precautions.

Cancellations, No-Shows & Late Pick-Ups

– Appointment changes or cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
– Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
– If you fail to pick up your pet promptly, late fees may apply. Pets not collected within 24 hours may be transferred to a local shelter at your expense.

Payment Terms

– Payment is due at the time of service.
– Returned checks or failed payments are subject to additional fees.
– Collection costs, including attorney fees, will be your responsibility if action is required to recover unpaid balances.

Liability Waiver

By engaging our services, you release Art Pet Grooming LLC, its staff, contractors, and representatives from all liability for injuries, damages, illnesses, or losses to you, your pet, or your property arising from grooming services, except in cases of proven gross negligence.

Your Content & Privacy

Any photos, videos, or testimonials shared with or taken by Art Pet Grooming may be used for training, educational, or marketing purposes without further consent or compensation.

We collect and use client information (such as contact details) to manage appointments, provide services, and improve operations. We do not sell your personal data. Trusted third-party partners (such as payment processors) may access information only as necessary to fulfill their services.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain valid.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will apply immediately once published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be handled by the courts within the state in which Art Pet Grooming LLC operates.
