Cedar Hills, Oregon represents a thriving unincorporated community in Washington County — a vibrant neighborhood of approximately 10,000 residents and recognized as one of the Portland metro area’s most devoted pet-friendly localities. With abundant natural areas including the nearby Tualatin Hills Nature Park, Cedar Mill Creek Greenway, and extensive trail systems connecting through the region, Cedar Hills pets maintain energetic, nature-centered lifestyles throughout the year. This translates to dirt-covered paws following every woodland excursion, rain-dampened fur from Oregon’s characteristically moist climate, and dense coats managing the Pacific Northwest’s consistently wet seasons. Routine professional grooming isn’t an indulgence here — it’s necessary maintenance.
Having the groomer come to your home changes the whole day for your pet. Nobody has to wrestle a wet or wiggly dog into the back seat, and nobody has to sit in traffic on Route 26 with a cat crying in a carrier. We park near your door, you hand your pet to the same groomer who will handle the whole session, and that is it. The van carries everything needed for the bath, the dry, the trim, and the nails, so the work gets done in one calm visit. Many Cedar Hills owners book around a work call or a school run, since the appointment happens while they stay home. Older dogs, anxious rescues, and cats that hate the car usually handle this far better than a busy shop. When the session is done, your pet is back inside, clean and relaxed, in a few steps.
From Forest Park trails to Willamette Valley moisture, Cedar Hills pets encounter distinctive coat and wellness needs throughout the year. Here’s why ongoing professional grooming remains essential in the Northwest region.
From your initial contact through the moment your companion returns home looking absolutely magnificent, our approach centers on your convenience and your pet’s well-being. No facility visits, no crowded reception areas, no unfamiliar handlers — simply expert mobile grooming arriving directly at your Cedar Hills location.
Art Pet Grooming extends throughout Cedar Hills neighborhoods — from the established residential streets near Cedar Hills Crossing to the peaceful cul-de-sacs off Farmington Road, the family-friendly areas surrounding Cedar Hills Park, and the welcoming communities near Walker Road. No subdivision is too secluded, too residential, or too distant for our mobile service.
Life in Cedar Hills keeps pets busy outdoors, and their coats show it. From fall through spring, the rain turns the trails at Tualatin Hills Nature Park and along Cedar Mill Creek into mud, and that mud ends up in paws, bellies, and thick undercoats. If it stays there, it can turn into mats that pull on the skin. Wet weather also means damp ears, which some breeds do not handle well. Spring usually brings a heavy shed, when a deep bath and a full brush out save you from fur on every rug. In summer, dry grass and burrs stick to feathered legs and tails, and a shorter trim can help thick coated dogs stay comfortable. We are happy to talk about how often your pet should be groomed based on the coat and the season. Regular visits keep each session shorter and gentler, and they help catch small issues like a sore spot or a long nail early.
Art Pet Grooming originated from a fundamental belief: every companion animal warrants skilled, dedicated attention in a setting that promotes calmness — not hurried, not communal, not anxiety-inducing. Cedar Hills pet guardians select us because we arrive fully equipped, handle every creature with dignity, and produce outcomes that remain evident throughout grooming intervals. Our professionals assist this neighborhood in English, Spanish, and Portuguese — because every Cedar Hills household deserves complete confidence in their grooming specialist.
Our menu covers the basics and the details. A Dog Bath is a good fit for a quick refresh between cuts, while a Dog Haircut shapes the coat to suit your breed and your routine. Master Level Grooming is there for pets who need extra detail and a polished, finished look. Cats have their own options, including the Cat VIP Nail service for tidy claws and the Cat VIP Bath for coats that need a deeper clean. For dogs with energy to spare, we also offer 30 and 60 minute walks that fit into busy weeks. Our team speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese, so you can explain exactly what your pet needs in the language you prefer. Puppies, seniors, and nervous pets all get a pace that works for them, and that care is what keeps Cedar Hills families booking with us again.
Your Cedar Hills companion merits grooming that aligns with this community — thorough, polished, and provided directly at your residence. Bypass the traditional salon and connect with the Washington County pet guardians who’ve designated Art Pet Grooming their reliable choice, session after session.
